Research and map
Research and a mind map come before any drawing. On EcoSphere I set out the sequence in the brand book: logo research, mind mapping, then AI-assisted ideation to visualise directions.

I’m Guruprasad D. Achari, a visual communication designer. My identities start as pencil geometry on squared paper and end up on hoardings, glass doors, reels and exhibition stands. I design the system in between, so the mark holds up wherever it lands.

A logo is finished when the system around it works.
I trained in graphics and VFX at Jain University, after a diploma in computer science and engineering. Both show in how I work. I draw by hand first and construct marks on a grid. Then I treat the identity like something engineered: tested in one colour, reversed out of black, shrunk to an app icon and stretched across a hoarding.
At Elite Wave Media I designed brochures, social campaigns, logos, banners and pitch decks for clients in IT, fintech, energy and media, including the pitch presentation that won the agency a high-value client. At SSS Defence I now own the whole visual side of the company, from the brand guidelines to the expo floor.
I also build the tools behind the work. With Claude Code and AI automation I make websites, internal apps and production pipelines that let a lean design function move like a much larger one. I use AI where it earns its place in a project: ideation, generated characters, voiceover and rescuing difficult audio.

Marks are worked out in pencil on squared paper, with construction lines, before they go near a screen. The Trikona sketchbook alone runs to fifteen photographed pages.

Each identity is checked in a single ink, reversed, as an app icon, stacked and horizontal, so it survives cheap print runs and small screens as well as the hero placement.

Then the system goes to work across posts, reels, banners, standees, glass doors and hoardings. Each format is recomposed for its proportions rather than simply resized.
